Working for strong schools, safe streets and smart development in my local community as well as the state of Maryland and America. Supporting legislation that can transform the lives of marginalized communities (black/brown people girls/women disabled/elderly). I believe that one person can make a difference!

IT'S TIME, TIME FOR CHANGE!

Recently, I attended Progressive Maryland's http://progressivemaryland.org/page.php?id=268 Awards Dinner.

The keynote address was given by U.S. Congressman John Lewis, a man of courage. Mr. Lewis is an example of what a public servant should be like.

I have made the decision to run for the Maryland General Assembly to represent District 22 in the House of Delegates. I have three reasons to go to Annapolis:
1. Fight for schools that provide a First Class Education for ALL. http://www.marylandpolicy.org/documents/educationfactsheet.pdf
2. Fight for safe Communities for ALL. http://www.ndc-md.org/ndc/current.html
3. Fight for Smart Growth that benefits ALL. http://www.brookings.edu/metro/speeches/20060215_mayors.htm All includes District 22 http://www.mdp.state.md.us/redistrict/prin.pdf , Prince George's County http://www.princegeorgesact.org/ and the State of Maryland . http://www.msba.org/sec_comm/sections/elder/Newsletters/elderlawspring06.pdf
I will need your help to raise at least $50,000.
Please ask people to donate money to:

Remember in politics early money is like yeast, it makes the dough rise!!!
My treasurer is attorney Rebecca Letsome if you have any questions concerning political donations please contact her at the campaign number (301) 560-8461. As a rule of thumb an individual may give up to $4,000 and as little as one (1) cent!
If 2,000 people each gave $25.00 that would equal $50,000.
IT IS TIME, TIME FOR A CHANGE: WE ARE THE PEOPLE WHO CAN DO IT
