YOUR TIME TO BE HEARD!!

Legislative bills that apply only to Prince George’s County are called “local bills.” There is a special process for introducing and approving them. The process begins with a public hearing in the county. Two of these hearings are scheduled for next Monday and Tuesday at 7:00 pm in the Student Union at PG Community College.

DECEMBER 18TH AND DECEMBER 19TH

If you want to know about the bills that will be heard, you can get a listing, read a summary, and even see the whole bill at the website of the Prince George’s County House Delegation at www.princegeorgeshousedelegation.com. ( Note: you may have to “refresh” your screen to view the text of the bill. See the note on the home page.)

If you want to express an opinion on any bill, you can send written comments to: Chair, Prince George’s County House Delegation, Lowe House Building, Annapolis, MD 21401.
